‘Reciprocal’ tariffs on every country to be announced next week, Trump says

https://www.politico.com/news/2025/02/07/trump-reciprocal-tariffs-announced-next-week-00203165

quoting from the article “I’ll be announcing that next week, reciprocal trade, so that we’re treated evenly with other countries,”

Trump, who said the tariffs would apply to every country, added that the announcement would likely come “Monday or Tuesday.” unless singapore is not a country no reason for thread to be shifted

singapore will be affected

Checked on the thread. It was moved to Current Affairs Lounge as the news and discussion involves USA and other countries in the world, not only Singapore. And besides, Current Affairs Lounge is NOT a subforum only for non-Singapore news.

May this help to clarify and have a good weekend. :)
