why laptop cant play csgo

hi, i bought a work laptop around 2020 or when i forgot. its spec is

i7 10th gen + mx330 gpu.

internet speed is ok.

but when i play csgo its only 10-15fps cant play at all.

my i5 6th gen + gtx960 gpu has no problem playing. shows 120fps

can i ask what may be the cause? i dont use this laptop much nor do i play other games.

however my laptop drop once before, could it be dropping of laptop might disconnect the internal fans?

its very hot at the botom, not sure if its the cause.

the cause is gpu cmi, lower resolution to 480p n try

Because your csgo is running on igpu instead. Google on how to force csgo to run on dedicated gpu

flowest i can go is 680, i tried it and use all settings to low. and also i set to dedicated gpu as well but still same.

i see this youtube guy same card but he can run 100+ fps, i can only get 10-20fps



do i have to download an app call throttlestop then can play?

did u plug in ur laptop while gaming? and ensure that power mode is set to best performance?

anyway mx330 is as good as garbage, not even half as fast as a 960.

OMGGGGGGG thanks all bosses!!!! problem solved.

set to best performance instead of balance is the answer.

of cuz lowest setting + set to gpu is required too for it to work!

the throttling app thing not needed.

can have 15 rounds of 60-120fps. not gonna use this laptop to play cs go anymore, just happy to find the answer and know nothing wrong with my hardware(fan).
