Why my MBP doesn't charge

No sure if any of you have experienced this before, but sometimes my macbook pro goes crazy and doesn't charge when I attach the charger to my macbook.

And even when my mbp battery is totally flat, it still doesn't charge.

Then if I leave it alone for 1-2 days and try again, it works. It has happened to me about 4-5 times over the past few months.. is there anything wrong with my macbook?

Please share if you have similar experience. :s36:

try reset NVRAM/PRAM of your laptop?

follow instructions in LINK

you can also go system profile to see the status of your battery, could be need replacing

if still don't work then motherboard could be affect....hope not

Hmmm, okay thanks.

I'll go to the link that you've provided and see if it solves the issue.

I've had this macbook for 3 years I think? Let's hope it isn't going to die on me now. :(

have u tried holding option then click on e batt icon in e menu bar? what is e "condition" of e batt?

had this problem too.. .end up i found out it's something wrong with my charger. try your friend's charger see whether it works?

I had the same experience but found out it's the charger problem. I have to intentionally attach/re-attach the charger a couple of times before the battery stars charging.

Try cleaning the golden contacts (both sides) on the magsafe connector.
