There's nothing malicious, vulgar, obscene or stirring. It's just light-hearted ribbing in a sub-forum meant for light-hearted ribbing. There are currently 22 reactions, of which 21 are positive.
Did his post specifically and accurately contravene any forum rules? I see such posts being made by witty members in various threads, in their own unique style. Threads that talk about Yishun, Marine Parade shuttle buses, various "slum" neighbourhoods across Singapore, etc. This warning has a chilling effect on members who want to interject with humour and be able to keep things light-hearted and clean.
Even if we were to think of the forum's golden rule "would you say this out loud in public?", the answer is still yes, and I can easily visualise any stand-up comedian saying such things in public.
What's going on here really? TIA to any mod or admin who can kindly explain the judgment.
