If pap did not stir town council issue...
LTK will leave Aljunied and lead the EC team.

His other team members did very well after winning it.
With the AHPETC issue he can't do it.
If he leave. PAP will say that he is running away for this issue.

Very sure EC will turn sky blue with him leading the team.
Voter know very well. Minister can be replace but there is not replacement for LTK. W/o LTK means no more WP .I believe that the main reason WP captured Aljuined in 2011.

LTK wants to see if people have confidence in his party brand instead of just the members. If it works, they are gonna take alot more seats in the future.

It took more than 20 years before LTK left Hougang.

Leaving Aljunied just after 1 term will send the signal to voters that they are just stepping stones. You can't build voters loyalty like that.
