Why U say WP is ready to take over one more town council?

How is that to achieve at least 20 opposition to be elected?

AHPESKWTC: 8 with Sengkang West added into AHPETC
ECFSTC: 5 with East Coast GRC + Fengshan

13 only. At most Jeannette from SPP elected still only 14.


Even if WP take over Marine Parade instead of EC & Fengshan, it would be at most 8 + 6 = 14 (Inclusive of MacPherson SMC)

you too optimistic already. They can retain current seats plus add one fengshan can arm chio liao. Got lky and sg50.

Optimistic put one side. It is LTK said that at least 20 oppo needed for them to be effective. This, however contradicts WP's latest statement by ready to take over one more town council, which is no where near 20 this figure, let alone 28 contested.

The only good side of this statement is that, apparently WP say it is ready to take over one more town council = they are ready to have around 14, which is half of the 28 contested and it proved Goh Meng Seng right that WP did chew more than it could swallow.
