Hey guys,

I just got an Acer w700 today. Installed my programs and was quite content so far, but the only problem that I have is the windows 8 store app is crashing. It opens up a bit up to the splash screen and just crash. All the other default metro apps are working though

I tried to do wsreset.exe but it failed. And when I tried the windows refresh it says I have missing drivers and need to insert media.

Any know a solution or cause of this? :s11:

Hi Relsirc,

Would you please confirm to us these questions:
1. Is there any error message appear when you launch the app?
2. Do you use any third party anti virus in your Windows 8?
3. Have you already try to re-install the app?
4. What about your screen resolution?

If you would like to perform a refresh in Windows 8, kindly insert the installation disk that you used when you are installing your Windows 8.

Hope it helps.

Ok just decided to reset the tablet and installed the corresponding drivers for my tablet. I have to say that Acers 5 disc of recovery and system disk was no help at all. ugh.

The windows refresh didn't do anything except mess up my entire drivers .

So yeah for now problem solved. (BTW, the app that was crashing before is the Windows 8 app store)
