Those who use a lot of margin or trade options, only 1 metric to see nia....current excess liquidity. Near 0 better top up or ibkr liquidate for u. Tastytrade user it's maintenance excess.

correct, don't use margin while buying the dip in SP500. No matter how tempting, the dip always go lower than you think. Once out of funds, just close the app and go back to work.

I rather be buying stocks when they drop temporarily due to short term sentiments not structural deterioration , than buy stocks when they are high due to short term sentiments

Last few mths, ocbc brokerage offered a new service to enable shareholders of any stock to lend out their shares to corporate borrowers

the latter could effectively short the shares they borrowed

the major banks already anticipated markets will be down soon few mths ago

chey,.. only $18k, easily can cover with your salary and bonus savings over a year? It is also much less than my normal size. I thought you invested up to 1 HDB worth (six figures) in MU.

Then don't be too greedy buy the dip, just buy once during the dip. If MU still go lower, wait for salary next month to come in. Every month just tighten your belt and buy some MU.

MU will recover because HBM memory fabs cannot be built by anyone else so fast.
