it will be a very tough battle for the workers party in the coming 2020 election.
first is the more influx of new citizens.they mostly vote for the PAP.
second is the lost of chiam see tong charm.although he is not from the wp but his charm still able to gather alot of strong oppo supporters.
now that his ward potong pasir confirmed lost for good... mean we wont see another chiam see tong again.
more and more people will not dare to even join opposition party knowing that is doom anyway.
more youngest will not even bother with the politics....
when the hardcore oppo oldies left this world.. it will be replaced with more new citizens.....
more singaporeans already give up hope in singapore either they will void votes or just vote pap as they wont bother anymore.
well ... example my frens who support wp.he already give up hope and now turn to do his own thing.he wont even want to attend rally anymore in 2020.
as for me.... i attended most of the oppo rally with flag and umbrella... and seeing so crowded with youngest i thought a big win for the oppo.
but my guess is wrong..... and i was stuned like veg when the result is out.
