nowadays the wrestlers are plain jane, no innovative. no entertainment element liao

WWE is not even the golden era of entertainment wrestling. The golden era belonged to WWF. Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Macho Man, Ultimate Warrior, Million-Dollar Man, Jake the Snake, Ravishing Rick Rude etc.

Even the managers had character: Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Mr Fuji, Jimmy Hart etc.

Only thing missing then was female wrestling.

So, I followed through the highlights.
The 2 wrestlers just dun have the aura to woo the crowd despite all the attempts to boost their brand.

nowadays got netflix can watch wrestling and the only nice wrestler is roman reigns. Last time no netflix only sports central and premier 12, can watch alot of wrestling and look forward to royal rumble every year. Also last time wwe more superstar, now only 1 wrestler nice which is roman.

thats true but u have to remember who we were in the 1990s and 2000s?

The most vested people in WWE during that time were young kids and teenagers like us. We were more likely to believe it wasn't scripted as we were still young. Only after growing into adulthood then we started to realize.

But when kids and teenagers who have interest in WWE nowadays go and watch a movie only to see The Rock and John Cena on screen, it just kinds of ruins it.
