Hi, im a noob here. Bought xbox 360 for my girl school holiday but disk displayed "disc's region code is incorrect for this console".

Understand its abt NTSC/J, PAL, USA etc. Any experts can advise how to bypass it? Mine is local set but disk from USA.

Ur help much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Not helpful indeed as there mod set which allows downloadable games.

Ya, but if you owned a mod set you wouldn't have posted this thread in the first place.

But at least you know it exists which makes talking simpler. I guess you also know that you're going to need a soldering iron and you also know that dashboard 8000 and above all cannot be JTAG-ed? Nowadays other methods are used, but many people still call them JTAG the same way your grandma calls every game console a "Nintendo".

Discussion related to piracy is not allowed on this forum, but you can visit team executor and sevensins for xbox 360 related modifications. Y'know, the people who *actually* own working modded units and wrote working guides and found the methods.

TS, just pay to get it modded. Caraohell have a few ppl offering this services. Life is much easier that way. Its not as simple as ps3 softmod.
