It was stated that Xiaomi has accelerated its work on its first smartphone with a vertically foldable design. It has been revealed that the model, which will be called Xiaomi MIX Flip , has received new certifications in China. Thanks to the 3C certification, some of its basic features have been leaked.
Xiaomi MIX Flip comes with 67W fast charging
The foldable phone market continues to grow rapidly. Chinese technology giant Xiaomi, which is preparing to launch not one but two models this year, cannot keep the features of its new devices secret. According to leaks, the Mix Flip and Mix Fold 4 models, which will be introduced in the third quarter of 2024, attract attention.
According to the certification listing, Xiaomi MIX Flip with model number 2405CPX3DC will support fast charging up to 67W. This reveals that it will have similar charging features to flat-screen devices. The panel of the model, which will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, will be entrusted to Samsung.
There will also be a small screen below the cameras to check notifications and take selfies using the rear cameras. Previous leaks have revealed that the MIX Flip's main camera will include a 50 Megapixel Light Hunter 800 sensor and a Howey OV60A sensor.
It was also stated that the phone was produced by Beijing Changshu Technology, Xiaomi's own production facility. In this context, it is likely to be cheaper than its competitors in terms of price. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed this model, but let us underline that the first model that can be folded vertically may be released soon.
