xperia z getting too hot?

is it normal for the xperia to get really warm up
was using PLUME tweeter app, checking mail and browsing web and the nfc part at the back of the xperia got pretty hot, then again its where the processor is too

HOT? just go for a swim in with your phone :s22:

its a common issue among xz and s4

Yup.. It's quite normal actually. You have to understand, the back glass piece is actually very very thin(somebody did a teardown on one of the threads before) so it's a norm for it to heat. Don't have to worry. :)

okay thx for the input
i tot the hot is abnormal, at first i tot my NFC went crazy maybe i didnt off or what, because the heat only come from that 1 spot

Last time I checked, Z hits average 40+ while S4 hits average 50+ degrees celsius.

You can still take Z for a swim, S4 will have to cool down manually. :D

so far, no experience of my phone goes hot on its own. do feel hot when I am playing with the phone...

Weird part is I think it's kink to LTE, the phone cooled down relatively fast after k switch to
The phone get hotter from me almost doing nth on LTE but times I am on 3g doing lots of stuff it didn't get as hot

Is it me or are these new phones that hot?
after the last update from sony ota.

temps are a little lower. 40-43 max. in the past, it's 45-46.

if they can keep it sub 40. that will be better.

When it gets too hot, just wash it under tap water, it will cool down very fast. Hehe =)
