Your preferred hotel in Batam?

For me, as long got shuttle from ferry terminal and then send to ferry terminal, good enough. Be surprised how much money is saved during these 2 trips including parking fees.

from what i know not many hotels provide such svc. All is charged svc

Depends where you choose to stay. Example, Holiday Inn resort has shuttle to take you to/from ferry terminal as well as nagoya mall.

Supposing im staying near Nagoya mall, its also possible to simply walk to hotel from harbor bay.

see how much per night and if you prefer nearer or newer hotel. In my case, would be the Nagoya Hill Hotel or Amaris if want to stay practically next door to Nagoya mall. If nightlife is more your thing, try stay near the BCS mall.

going solo so safety concern also prefer place i can relax. budget about $100 per night

more than enough. Can even stay resort if you don't mind taxi back to resort. Roughly around 150k-200k rupiah there per trip to Batman city center if the resort don't have shuttle service.

If up budget, can stay in a villa at turi resort if you want.

Take note that though its next to Nagoya mall, it doesnt go direct. Need to go out the entrance and then Left and another Left along the main road before can see the entrance to Nagoya mall.

Yes. Provided you are okay with dashing across main road as there is no pedestrian crossing there much less traffic lights.

A budget way of getting around very short distance is to use go-jek. Its an app based motorbike version of grab. They will have helmet for you so no need to bring your own.
