briefly looked at your itnerary. i am not sure what kind of traveller you are but i saw 虎跳峽 hiking so i think you are quite adventourous so i would suggest you skip Kunming and make you way to Shangri La and visit the old town. It is very nice The trains there are efficient and fast so not hard to get from city to city. Lijiang is very nice.

Thank you for your advice. A bit hard for me to go Shangri La due to long travel duration.. and all my hotels have been booked already..

Well.. I can always go back again with my family if I like the place.
