nexus devices had always been a niche. reason being, sg don bring it in most of the time. So once it becomes mainstream, alot of people want it.

for the price, it is good. manufacturer doesnt matter cause its done in partner with Google. sure will have some level of QC.

Alright, thanks a lot for the info. I guess same like everyone else i will just order a pair. At least with 2 i can test it out and see if its that easy to apply. Else i just get someone to help me apply if i screw up.

By the way, some of you guys mentioned that I was going beyond the call of duty for these communications. I want to say, I bought the g1 when it came out, and I was in Mountain View when the HTC Nexus one was launched, impatiently waiting for my meeting to be over in the building next door. By the time my meeting over, the nexus one launch event was over,and I went back to my hotel. Midnight, me and my bro Vincent (who is also helping run this Nexus 6p sales very stressfully) after some beers in San Francisco, decided to storm the Google hq. By the time we reached Google building again, it was midnight, and we were the only people there. We cycled around on the Google bicycles, played around with the giant nexus one effigies and basically just mucked around, when 3 security vans raced to us and friendly but firmly threw us out.

That I have a chance to sell the nexus 6p to you guys, it is really an achievement unlocked for me. I couldn't imagine that I'd have this chance, so I try my best to make it a good experience.

Again sorry for not having enough stock, we knew that it would sell a lot, but this "a lot" turned out to be seriously more than what we thought. I hope everyone turns happier, and enjoy the first time a great manufacturer like Huawei has a huge team on this. Huawei has really been one of the most impressive partners I've ever worked with these 20 years I have worked for Convergent. They committed large number of people and resources to this Nexus in Singapore itself, and these people are very committed and strong,and they cooperate with us very strongly.

Now I know why only Huawei chose to do this, and not the 5x guy. Really takes so much resources, commitment. You remember the qfuse incident? Did anyone realise that Singapore Huawei is the only one who committed that they don't check QFuse? That's the amount of commitment that the Huawei Singapore team has, they dare to be the leaders and commit to what the nexus community really wants, even though everyone else satisfied that 'bootloader unlock will not trip QFuse'.

Enough of self reminiscing. Now our job is to put the nexus 6p into as many of your hands as possible. Believe me, we're all trying.

Thanks alot on the promo discount code, but that doesn't really answer my question. Are you guys getting this SP because its good? Or just because there's a promo. It would help a lot of someone here that has experience on this product can shed some light on this as i'm quite curious since almost everyone is getting it.

they are the only one now with the correct proximity cut out (sort of) that ships cheaply to singapore and their one plus one deal is pretty attractive.

thing is ah, rooting phone is not a big deal... but usually after rooting is where ppl start to attempt to flash the roms and screw up big time...

so if can't even figure out what root is, better don't touch... be safe than sorry.

but hoh, nexus should be quite easy to save... because always got a lot of support from XDA

unless you flash a samsung rom into your nexus, or else it's pretty hard to brick it.
