Wah 10 people has it. Someone should bring this into Samsung's attention. Maybe then they'll remove S-voice when their sales start dropping like grapes

Sometimes never had it for the whole day, sometimes a few times a day...

Think Gary was the one of the first few to post about this issue (http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/95891527-post671.html).

Mine was from launch day till now. I will encounter that issue i think at least once a day everyday for the first week. Then i did a factory reset and wipe cache partition using the stock recovery, which seems to help. Nowadays, I can go days without seeing it, but confirm still around. In fact, just had it happen this evening. Tried to turn on the phone, but took like 3-5 secs for the phone to wake up. :s22:

I've checked the software version at the shops (samsung, singtel or m1). The model number listed as SM-N920X which is different than ours SM-N920I even software version is not the latest one. Im wondering the display model is different than what they sell to customer? I've been testing/playing note 5 since the launch day almost everyday at the shops and finally bought it, i didnt encounter any issue at all while testing with the display set.... im really sad now with my note, this sleeping issue is really bad. :(

i'm wondering if it could be some third party apps that doesn't play nice with the chipset? But it would be damn near impossible to pinpoint. :/

Dont think so..... i did everything i can already, clear cache partition, factory reset few times, disable Svoice etc. Samsung push out 2 update recently and each time i also did factory reset after the update but no use. Even i also tried just install whatapps and facebook 2 apps only and monitor it but still getting the sleeping issue. I never have such bad experience before, its so unstable.... dont know what to do now. :(

Which model is your? I mean (color & storage)

My is 64gb Gold Matilic. I use it directly without factory reset. So far so good.

Based on my experiences since my note 3, i realized a lot of problems caused by some apps i installed, especially battery run out fast due to some apps running un background.

Now I'm very picky about apps i use and observe which are running in background. Comparing Note 3, Note 5 is a great upgrade. To me is worth it.
