It's at West Terra! Because actually I'm looking at other websites, and the room technically only is around 25 sqm. And the online sources say 9000 btu should suffice. But I emailed Jk, they recommended 18000. So strange, don't know what to opt for!

some aircon coy is sales talk, some offers genuine advices. if u feel worried then go for higher btu. if u trust online reviews and feedback then go with your gut feel.

to me 9k btu is enuff, u still got your fan to cool the room. your fancoil will be blowing at your bed. so the open wiw wont affect the airflow much.

my fcu was placed at your current aircon ledge position blowing directly at the bed. i dunno how where u gonna place your fcu, shld be same spot?

Try U-Sin Aircon too they give good advise. Which brand are you getting?

alot will be tempted by the daikin smile series cos it's quite heavily marketed. yeap the starmex good old model the 2 ticks, actually its just becos that its a proven model, reliable, quiet and easy maintenance.

i also was comparing this 2 models, i bought last march only, i decided to go with starmex although quite tempted with the smile. i prefer proven, lesser headache, easier maintenance and its cheaper.

i took the 2 ticks model, went with sys 4 - 9/9/9/9 + sys 1 - 24k.

i spoke to jex aircon also. i probably shld just get system 3 = 18k btu + 9k btu.

i'm probably going for starmex 5 ticks, i remember reading in some other threads about some daikin horror stories, so i think starmex shld be fine?

Daikin compressor is smaller for System 3 but more powerful for system 4.
Mitsubishi I think it’s 25.6k btu for S3 & S4.

How many years warranty is Jex aircon giving for Workmanship?

I’m going for Panasonic Aeros System 4

Hi, whats the price may I ask?

I got Mitsubishi starmex 5 ticks 9/9/9/24 after discount is $4050 come with 2 years workmanship warranty and free upgrade materials and 1 time free servicing.

Their price is reasonable but the most is their workmanship ok.

I would strongly recommend Cold Engine. The boss Scott personally made a trip to my unit for a site inspection, gave recommendations and ensure all has been agreed before his team come down to carry out with the installation. Workmanship is really good and the worker make sure the place is clean up before they leave. Cost is relatively cheaper than the big players.

Both Scott & Michelle is approachable and could answer the queries that was posed to them.

As good as not posting.
Those below hundreds of posts..... can check their profile. See genuine or trash account.
If you're cold engine, I suggest you "buy" accounts in HWZ better.
