It's normal, majority of the Android users are used to the heavily modified UX and thus not able to get used to stock UX.

Screen wise yea the Pixel 2 XL does has it's issues but after using it for nearly a year, personally I even noticed the tint existed. Haha.

WiFi wise I'm using an Asus ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 router and the WiFi speed is pretty good compared to an iPhone X. Haha.

As for camera, I personally prefer the Pixel 2 XL photos, it's more realistic.

Want to off load must quickly. Net Pixel 3 is just round the corner.

guys im planning to get pixel 2 XL local set... how do i know its local set? does warranty claim needs physical receipt? or photo will do?
so many people selling in carousel ... just wanna make sure im buying the right thing...
i dont want to get from google as its EX there.... planning to buy from those who recon from singtel....

If due to using other telco, then when you buy the brand new pixel 2 xl set, request for original receipt/proof of purchase from the seller.

If seller is legit in selling off the pixel 2 xl, no reason why they would need to hold onto the original receipt/proof of purchase.

About 8 months since I've had my pixel 2 xl.

Dont feel any much different from day one.

The same blue tint is still there when I tilt to view from an angle.

Otherwise daily use is fine and not really bothered by the blue tint.

Currently overseas, decided to use the free google fabric case that came along with my purchase. Feels good so far. Perhaps might consider to continue using it when I will be back Singapore.

Even in Scotland, UK here, the Google Pixel 2/XL feels like a rare phone that I hardly see anyone else on the streets using it. Only had an encounter with someone who had a Pixel 2 XL Panda so far.

I used Okla speed test and tried it few times as I did not believe the vast disparity as well.
Yup. Also set screen to saturated. Much better than natural which looks really dull.
Well, probably too pampered by huawei that it's so easy to do screenshot or scrolling screenshot and screen recording which seems pixel can only do screenshot with very basic editing.

Those features you mentioned are probably part of the huawei's default launcher(No idea what they are called).

Samsung also probably have their own suite of handy gestures alongside LG and others.

For the Pixel, perhaps got to look into whether are there separate apps or launchers that allow you to use those gestures I guess. Since the Pixel is after all only offering pure android experience.

About April when I checked, Singtel is still selling the Pixel 2 XL re-contracts on Combo 2 plan for S$848(Launch price during Nov 2017)
