I m in a dilemma to wait for 1660ti or just go with 1650. Would like to game for abit in WoW and POE.

The 1650, is not very good if you’re intending to run recent titles with High details. But if you’re ok with toning the details down to medium or low, you’ll get decent frame rates.

The screen see already not shiok one. Trying to figure out what is wrong, perhaps it is too reflective? Maybe I am too used to iPhone and iPad screens. Even my work Dell screen not that bad.

Yes that is the problem... Last time our phones had crappy displays as well and we never used "good" screens so we had little basis for comparison. Now they are everywhere (in fact iPhones and the iPad Pro have close to DCI-P3 colour gamut) that it's getting harder to overlook.

You can buy a screen on Taobao for about 80 or less, and the bezel for about 20. The bezel sticker (the one that says T14 on it) can probably be reused

Prices are getting much more enticing, but the lack of customisability is still frustrating. I'll probably only consider it when Lenovo SG offers 32GB ram and 400 nit low power screen options.

I have purchased Legion 5 recently and I think Lenovo is doing a bad job with their own branding which used to be ok.

1. Their website has stated that the fixed configuration shall be shipped in 2 business days and they have not shipped yet.

2. The website says that buyer can redeem gifts and as usual there are some terms and conditions. The normal practice is to take down the advertisement or put up a notice that all gifts have been fully redeemed if that is so. However, this is not done and consumer needs to wait for 60 days before knowing the results (the gift company does not reply to my email at all). The worst is that Lenovo chat agent says that the gifts are not valid anymore and their customer service asks me to check with the gift company.

I have read in this forum about the limited number of XBOX for redemption issue. As a big company, it seems that they are quite stingy in giving promotional gifts to consumers. I am glad that someone has gone further to fight for the gift instead of keeping mum. The funny thing with Lenovo is after the XBOX episode as shown in this forum, you do not know whose words to believe/trust...the chat agent, the customer service and etc.

Now I have to associate Lenovo as a brand which over-promises and under- delivers.

UPS was supposed to send the laptop on 19th August but never did. So I went to UPS website to check the status and it shows that the address information was incorrect and hence cannot proceed to send. I called UPS up and found that the street info was wrong and requested them to correct it.... then I wrote an email to Lenovo to feedback this and ask them to ask UPS to expedite the process as I need it urgently.... next moment, I found that I cannot track my parcel anymore and Lenovo has extended the delivery date to 24th August.

I conclude that there is either something wrong with Lenovo customer service and process or UPS is not being honest. All in all, the dealing with Lenovo is seriously not a pleasant one consider it being a branded and well known company.

Consumers need to handle and manage their screw ups... imagine if we did not intervene and contact UPS, the parcel will be sent back to the sender which will cause further delay... Their "shipping within 2 business days" is really a gimmick and a downright joke. For my case, the laptop is already in Singapore and 4 business days have passed and I cannot even smell my laptop yet. At the same time, Lenovo has already sent an email regarding my 2 yrs premium warranty which i think is in effect already...

I have 2 monitors ordered recently that is facing the same issue. and its shipping from some where in SG.

The unit number was missing, and I had to call UPS to have the address corrected. Dont even know how they committed this error when I entered my address in a single line. Still waiting for a rescheduled delivery.

I ordered my 2nd ideapad 5i 15 on 3 days ago to replace another laptop of mine, expected ship date is 29 sept lol.. q strange, cos I ordered the same model 2 weeks ago on national day, it was delivered in a week
