Actually i have nothing against fatso Melissa McCarthy. Her last few roles were very funny...and i like the funny way she curses.
But the all female cast smells feminist message by Sony Studios.
It be better if it was equal gender representation for the team.

Moi seriously doubt anyone who ish the old GhostBusters fansee will enjoy this new version, and no, it ish not just because of the char bo casting. The trailer does not give moi any feel of it being ghostbusters moobie. Even the cartoon also many times better.

Beside there are some moobie that you can easily tell how sux it ish just from the trailer. This new GB si pek high chance to be one such moobie.

Very sad to see yet another great iconic franchise up lorry.

So many people on the hate train when they just see a small portion.

The trailer is supposed to be the candy that attract the audience to the cinema for the movie.

The viewers have a deep impression of the old movie.

So, it is normal for them to compare it to the original movie which was a epic.

The trailers shows:
- typical racial stereotype where the MRT lady have no reason to be join the team.
- There is lack of chemistry between the team.
- The jokes seems to be copied completely from the original.
- There was a leader in the pack which was not evident.
- There is no element of fear as the team seems more powerful than the ghost and already have the model answer to deal with them.

They already trying to be cheap by using a bunch of non star.
And they are also trying to be lazy by copying the original.

So, the audience should watch the original movie instead.

Classic Ghostbusters became typical hollywood comedy?!? Reali trash!

Can forsee this will appeal to new ppl/young audiences who dunno the old ghostbusters as a comedy show instead of what it suppose to be.

But ghostbusters fan will reject this piece of junk. Low class joke. Dun have slightly more serious/scary ghost. Suppose to have blend of joke and seriousness in ghostbusters.

Characters arent tht interesting. Kristen wiig and Melissa marcarthy act their usual self from their other movies?

Nothing against an all female lead cast, but I think the movie looks overly bright and cartoony now. Maybe this was on purpose?

Anyway, I thought they also announced that there will be another movie after this featuring an all-male ghostbusters?

i definitely will not watch this movie even if its free
ghostbuster should remain the same cast even if they are old
and most certainly not all become lao zhabors....

On the other hand, I don't mind watching if it is free. Who cares classic or not....

No need to watch trailers or whatever, most people or the lao jiao's who watched the original won't even give this a chance after knowing its an all female cast.
