People flock to high paying sectors like banking and O&G during good times. The trade-off is they have to accept getting retrenched during bad times.

Mgmt won't slash their own bonus. The actual fact will be mgmt will squeeze those below so that their bonus can be sustained regardless of the number

SINGAPORE: Global offshore group Keppel FELS on Monday (Apr 4) said it "strongly refutes" allegations regarding its involvement in the payment of bribes relating to Unaoil.

A company spokeperson told Channel NewsAsia in a statement: "Keppel has a code of conduct which prohibits, among others, bribery and corruption."

The company's comments came after Australia's Fairfax Media and The Huffington Post published a report on Unaoil alleging the "family business from Monaco has systematically corrupted the global oil industry, distributing many millions of dollars worth of bribes on behalf of corporate behemoths".

On Keppel, the report said leaked files reveal that Unaoil was paying bribes in Kazakhstan to help the conglomerate Keppel win contracts.

if u see it as a triangle, cut off the base, it becomes a smaller triangle only. cut off the top, it becomes a chap pa lang shape
