Thank you for the polite reply. The whole point of why I'm here is because I have no idea about these kind of matters, which is why I'm here for advice. So I put a text qns, but I couldn't add pictures. So now I have added pictures and I updated it. If it really is as you guys say then alright, thank you for the help and advice. I'm a student, and a new driver, so your replies really are enlightening for me.

Good job for not running away. Respect to you! Recently my car got a hit and run. Front bumper near fog light area crack and 1 deep scratch. May karma befall onto that bugger.

Just pay off that $150. That chap is being nice to you probably because you are honest. FYI to respray part of the bumper you are looking at upwards of $150 liao. Make sure you write a letter and make 2 copies for that chap to sign stating that the $150 you paid will settle this issue and no further claims or actions will be taken against you.

First image is after I first scratched it, the black I assume is the scratched paint from the car I was driving, the second picture I went back to take a closer look, I assume he cleaned it up, you can see the actual scratch there now

I mean of course I have to pay, that's why I left the note, cause it's my fault. But looking at the scratch...

Edit: if you can't see it it's underneath the headlight at the edge.

The whole area must respray to get even color. $150 is good. Just asked for receipt at the time you pay up.

$150 considered little liao, imagine the trouble the owner has to get through to drive his car to a workshop for repainting...quickly pay and do a private settlement in black and white
