The National Tax Service has begun its investigation into YG Entertainment.

With YG Entertainment under investigation, there are speculations that the National Tax Service's final goal is toward Yang Hyun Suk. The NTS is currently investigating on suspicions that YG Entertainment had not reported its label artists' overseas income properly. There are investigations on offshore tax evasion through foreign currency exchange, and also on suspicions that YG Entertainment had created a paper company for their concert income.

Not only so, but the NTS will be investigating on whether the income distribution to the celebrities in the label is transparent, and will be checking if the amount that YG Entertainment reported as fees and the amount that the label artist reported as income will match, meaning each artist under the label will be under investigation as well.

Insiders in the industry predict that YG Entertainment will have to pay tens of billions of KRW (~8.8 million USD) in additional taxes. An insider said, "Most people thought that the additional taxes paid through the 2008 investigation was too little. As the industry has grown, the additional taxes must have also grown." In 2008, YG Entertainment had to pay 2.8 billion KRW (~2.4 million USD), and some managers had to even go through prosecution investigations because of tax evasion.

Song Ji Hyo’s imaginary husband, Chinese actor Chen Bolin, is jealous of Gary.

In the latest episode of “We Are in Love,” the Chinese version of “We Got Married,” before leaving for a vacation in Finland, Song Ji Hyo and Chen Bolin have a heart-to-heart discussion.

During their talk, the actor stubbornly asks Song Ji Hyo what kind of relationship she had with Gary, and admitted he felt jealous.

In reply, the actress says that she’d been out with Gary without the other “Running Man” members only once. She said since they’d known each other for such a long time, they were really comfortable with each other, and confirmed that they were good friends.

In a previous interview, Chen Bolin said, “If the opportunity arises, I’d like to meet the ‘Running Man’ members since Ji Hyo is always talking about them.” He continued, “I’ve never met Gary, but he seems like a fun person.”

Currently, Song Ji Hyo and Chen Bolin are becoming increasingly popular in China. They are refreshingly referred to as the “Orange Juice Couple” on China’s “We Are in Love.”

Source Music has won their lawsuit against a former G-Friend member who left the group right before the group's debut.

Source Music had filed a lawsuit against trainee 'A'. She had signed a short-term training contract with Source Music in October 2013 and had received vocal and dance training. However, in April 2014, she told the label that she wanted to rest and wanted to stop, and stopped coming to training. Source Music claimed that 'A' had agreed to submit the documents for contract cancellation as well as pay the fees. The contract that she signed stated that if she had broken the contract, she had to pay twice the amount that Source Music invested in her. However, 'A' took no action to pay the amount, and Source Music filed the suit in August 2014.

During the suit, Source Music demanded a total of 55.7 million KRW (~49k USD), with 12.47 million KRW (~11k USD) as double the amount invested, and 43.22 million KRW (~38k USD) that included the additional girl group training and dorming fees from the team debut being pushed back 5 months. 'A' tried to protest that Source Music imposed impossible weight loss on her and excluded her from training saying her looks were problematic, but the court did not accept her defense, reasoning that 'A' did not come to training and therefore broke the contract, meaning she had to pay the double amount.

However, the court did not accept that it was 'A's fault that G-Friend's debut was pushed back 5 months, reasoning, "G-Friend was originally planned to be a 7 member group, but another trainee other than 'A' left, making the group 5 members until another member was added for it to be 6. From this, it can't be said that it was only 'A's fault that the debut was delayed."

The court ordered 'A' to pay the original contract breaking fee of 12.47 million KRW.
