Does anyone know if a student has exemptions for 1.5 units and is left with 10.5 examinable units how many units can he/she fail in final year to be allowed to graduate? Is it 1 or 2 units?

hey senior, are we allowed to use pen to draw graph on graph paper? I did that for stats 1 today, and I am damn scared now.

btw i used purple ink to draw my stats one last year and i got A

no problem one lah. u use blood to write also can. uk examiners are very flexible one.

my essays i even draw pictures to explain and question the examiners back:s22: :s22:

Same procedures as those people without exemption. Fail one mod no drop of class. If fail 2 mod, drop one class

Yes, need. The requirement is to retake all failed papers the following yr. The only exception is if you're in ur final yr, then you still need to attempt again in ur final yr but allowed to graduate with max 2 failed mods.

Hope this clears ur doubt~

So I have to take 4.5 units next year? Is it possible ._.

i used this calculation also but i get 197,967 instead of 197,752 leh :s11:

Does it matter ?? no one can get the exact same answer as the commentaries , they use computer to do calculation , we use calculator , we limited to decimal points , they don have such limits ... if it really trouble you that much .... just say there's rounding off error

Where's the source of your information from?
UOL regulations didn't state it clearly.
Emailed them but didn't receive a reply :/

Hi guys im a year 2 anf student.i was wondering, if i were to fail two papers this year, would i need to do year 4? Since they only allow a maximum of 5 mods per year and i have 4 new mods on top of the 2 i have to retake next year. I read the regulation about an unredeemed fail. What does that mean?
Hopefully someone can help me clarify:)

Yes you'd need to take your final module in 4th year since you'll need to retake the 2, plus take 3 new ones in third year and do the final module in year 4. You can only drop a module if you fail one in your final year.
