All back to normal for me I guess. At least for my usage. Valve game servers connections are fine and youtube is okay.

Internet connectivity is down again. Seriously VQ, please get your freaking act together.

Once or twice in a year is tolerable.

This is the 5th or 6th time I've personally experienced downtime this year.

I have had Starhub and Singtel for years and the only down time I've faced is during maintenance in the wee hours (usually within 30 mins).

Speed isn't worth anything if you can't nail down the basics such as reliability.

Just curious: upon the end of the contractual period, do we have to explicitly notify VQ for termination, otherwise will they auto-renew the contract?

Your contract got write auto-renewal meh? If not how to auto-renew without your approval. A contract is legal binding.:s13:

They will continue the plan without contract. You have to call in to renew yourself, usually then they will throw in some freebies (e.g. free freedom vpn for 6 months, or free router, etc). If you don't call, then you no longer under contract.

I just renewed my contract the second time a few months ago then sh*t started happening. nbcb...

VQ radio silence over the latest incident.

Can one of your pretty girls step up and explain to us what just happened to the network, and what do you mean by "Internet Made Better"?

This is why i am not keen on their latest pattern of asking u to pay up lump sum for 2 years rather than monthly for 2 years. Any sh*t happens & you've already paid so what can u do?

Well, even if u are paying monthly, you are still legally binded to them for 2 yrs. So makes no diff.

Most likely, it will piss you off knowing that you had paid 1-2 yrs upfront and that they had not used the money to upgrade infrastructure. Instead, they spend on marketing, similar to what MR had done when they took off.

I was just told they are doing network migration and thus network not stable, i can't believe vq do it without informing or update customers, really horrible experience.

My one voice has been having issue of receiving incoming calls and now can't even call out. My case number is TT - 00087777 and it has been unresolved since 6 May till now. Yet ViewQwest sent an email to say the case is resolved without my agreement.
