SD808 isn't a very good chip also. But between 808 and 810 you get that little temp drop only and performance take a hit also. :(

i have both z2 and z5p, those camera AR apps, run faster on z2 than z5p.

Sd801 performance should be lower than 810 but in thi case it seems not.

810 is a failure chip. 808 base on it, of cos la.

And yes, i agree with u, SD800/801 still is faster IMO overall. :D

I think z5p looks good only with decent performance (most phone do anyway for usual day to day operations). If you are going for best benchmark performance, u are better off with other phones.

I also have Z3 for comparison with Z5P.

S810 is better on paper, it is just the heat control that prevents it from running at top performance on prolonged periods.

Anyone interested in getting a z5 premium privacy tempered glass can pm me. This item like hard to find in Singapore. Look around but seems like no sell.

Anybody facing reception issues on marshie? Didnt encounter that many "no network" on the north line previously before the update (factory set). eg. right inside bishan station, between yck n amk. These are some of the places my reception became zero....

When i was using z1 and z2 side by side, z2 also having minor issue on wifi and gsm signal drop. but after several firmware updates, then z2 is very stable.

I guess this goes for z5/ z5p. Need another round of update before really get stabilized.

Using both Z5P (v6.0) and Z3 (v5.1). Never encountered such problems.

Only have LTE dropped to 3G network at some places with poor LTE coverage.

You just answered your questions. :D

Dual SIM phones may encounter higher battery consumption for obvious reason - dual network connections.

So all these Z5, Z5 Premium and Z5 Premium Dual all not a good hp to buy ?

Which Sony hp has 800/801 in it ? Thanks

It is hard to define which is good or bad.

I can only say that my Z5P running on v6.0 loads games faster than my Z3 running on v5.1.

Heat is a minor problem if you are using the phone for prolonged periods in cool places.

Not advisable for long periods of use under the sun or warm places, the heat control may slow down the phone at certain high temperature.

Some further problems. The UV filter is badly scratched out and probably need the toothpaste to get rid of it completely.

The unusual screen unlock problem which I have been unable to attribute to any clear root cause.

The phone started to lag intermittently with the phone heating up. Very very annoying. Unable to reproduce the usage conditions.

Have been flashing updates OTA. Maybe I should repair it using phone companion. Phone is still on stock and content to keep it that way.

My uv coating on my old z was also scratched, removed the coating using wet tissue. My z5p also heats up but doesn't lag.

Recently I occasionally encounter finger print hardware not available error while unlocking phone. Then will have to restart the phone to clear it..

Only time when my phone lags is when i turn on the auto-sync.

well.

Just recontracted my plan and gotta the phone 2 week ago. I must said the phone is not that bad, performance wise is fast.. the battery life i must said do improve a bit by updating the software like some of them had mentioned before.

I do notice that from the CPU-z , is that there are 5 processing core is running @ 384mhz constantly. I think that would be the one of the reasons why the phone battery life is not as good as expected. correct me if i'm wrong.
