hi all, technical question - I have 20" rims (foldie), can you use 70mm v brake pads on them?

Reason why I'm asking is because shorter good v-brake pads are quite hard to find around.

Can try bikeactually's FS-S, 10.1kg that has the potential to go lighter if you swap out bikes, very easy to cycle because of weight. Haven't seen foldies get this close in weight, I'm quite sure something was sacrificed along the way, but since it's only for leisure then its fine.
After changing parts here n there, mine is sub 8.7kg already. Maybe time to change drivetrain to bring down to 8.5kg.

If weight is your only concern, you should have gotten Tyrell FSX and use carbon wheelset. :o

The ride quality will also be better than folding bikes with a middle hinge...

Well I ride at pre-dawn and pre-dusk so I guess it suits me?

So this bike can only ride at night?

Skipping a coating is cheaper than using lighter components - if Fuji were to incorporate the Reynolds RZR 46 wheelset from its 2016 model which weighs an astounding 4.96 kg!!!, the pricing will surely shoot though the roof! I suspect that's why it didn't & instead selected Oval Concepts 935.

don't know if untracked, how postman will squeeze my saddle into my mailbox

That is a good question but my guess is they would have to bring up to the house if it doesn't fit in and if nobody is at home then they will probably leave a note to collect from singpost or their automated boxes..

If the final delivery is through SingPost that is what they will do.

True. I have always rode when the sun don't shine, even on my previous Cannondale.

I feel sadder when I toppled & fell on the drive side — dented the pointed edge of SRAM RED eTap RD.

After FOUR short rides in THREE days!!! That's the outcome of not riding since August 16 2015.

Yup! How else would have I toppled and fell right?
I freed my left foot but my CG veered to the right & down I went!

Must have watched too much of GCN Matt Stephans falling video - my brain did not register to command my hands to let go of the lever hoods & brace for impact by turning to my right & push out to the incoming floor! That might very well have prevented the SRAM RED eTap RD from being damaged. Haizzzzz........

Not all SL frames receives a protective coating. Mine doesn't - it's a 2017 model, the very first of its kind & only one in Singapore, perhaps in ASEAN too?

Only TW & AU has this model I believe. I guess the Fuji SL engineers wanted absolute weight savings, hence they specify no clear coating, matt coating or wax coating.

this is the SL 1.1 2017, same as the one posted on bike continent fb?
