Paul Pogba’s mother has revealed that former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson made her son cry during his time at Old Trafford.

Since leaving United in 2012, Pogba has gone on to establish himself as one of the best players in the world at Juventus, winning four consecutive Serie A titles in Turin.

Given how good he has become, many believe letting Pogba go was one of Ferguson’s biggest mistakes but Pogba mother’s has claimed that the legendary manager was hoping the French international would stay at the club.

“I said: ‘What? Ferguson coming to my house! He came alone’,” Yeo Moriba, Pogba’s mother, told AFP. “We had got together with his brothers and we decided: he won’t re-sign.

“Ferguson punished him, he didn’t play him, Paul was alone. He even cried in Ferguson’s office over the way he was treated.”

Pogba is set to shine for his country France as they host Euro 2016, looking to end their 16 year wait for a major title.

wah if SAF punished Pogba by not playing him, must be Pogba did something wrong. So far you see SAF kick people out all because undermined his authority.

It beats me the last 2 managers failed to see the weakness in our defense by failing to sign a defender.
New gaffer fast hand fast leg, acquired a **. Duno how good this Eric is, but in JM i trust.

i learnt over 3 seasons never to "trust" a manager until results are met.

last time got people go in moyes i trust, then in lvg i trust. now show me the league title before i trust anyone.

I suspect the club wouldn't turn back for PaulP. It'd be one heck of an expensive "loan deal" wouldn't it, with us paying for it instead of receiving it. Imagine all the ABU reporters making fun of the club. Also a bad precedence for young players I think. It should always be - if you choose to leave United, then that's the chapter closed. I don't know how good he has become, but I doubt he has the ability to carry us like EricC or CristianoR once did. That means he's just another good midfielder who can replaced by another good one. With AnderH and MorganS being relatively young, I'd like to think we have a pretty solid midfield, taking into consideration the other young ones waiting to come up. We've glimpses of TimothyFM, and heard raving reviews of AndreasPereira.
I would prefer the club prioritise a 3rd central defender and a 3rd goalkeeper.

He wearing #24, past wearer: Paul Scholes/David Beckham/Wes Brown/Darren Fletcher. Not bad.

Watched Bailly since debut for Espanyol, even caught him in ‘B’ team. He remains a work in progress. As in, a lot of work in progress. #MUFC

Bailly’s flaws glaringly obvious, so that’s something #MUFC can get to work on right away. He needs a calm, composed ** partner. No doubt.

Bailly's speed and power are obvious. ** style is that he plays with aggression and looks to dominate. Can at times expose him. #MUFC

I think next priority is a winger...if memphis is leaving

Hence Griezmann...versatile on the wing, false nine or striker?

another midfield.

unfortunately carrick is old, schweinsteiger...almost there. one more backup for schneiderlin/herrera would be good.

attacking options we don't really need for this coming season.
