there is a popular porridge & beef noodle place on Hillier Street, Sang Kee ... nice especially in cold weather

sedikit atas is a French private kitchen Bonheur, located at the Pemberton. definitely affordable. must reserve. popular. for date night or long lunch.

I prefer more scenery than shopping. How is my plan? 8 or 9 days ia good?

for nature & scenery, can consider :

- have dim dum at 川 龙 village, then hike up tai mo shan, or hike around Sheng Mun Reservoir

- hike Dragon's Back

- tung ping chau island. have Sea Urchin fried rice, explore geology

These r a little off the beaten track but Dec is nice weather for outdoors in HK, so u shld get out more !

Stanley is a pain to get to. Mostly expat & yuppie hang out & touristy.

There's nothing in Aberdeen, other than the floating Jumbo & OP.

Yes i am aware avenue of stars is closed. But there is a small section called the garden of stars right? Well at leaat the bruce lee still there

LOL. If you just go there to take a picture with the statue, at most 15 minutes done. Then can go elsewhere liao. If that's your intention, your itinerary would look like this (or at least I would do it this way) :

Day 1: Check in hotel, stroll to Avenue of Stars take picture, enjoy Promenade/Harbour view, take bus to The Peak, Symphony of Lights, take Star Ferry back to Tsim Sha Tsui, dinner/stroll, rest.

Day 2: Breakfast, HK History Museum + HK Science Museum, lunch, other places of interest, dinner, stroll, rest.

Just a thought, my friends and I spent almost half a day (and still not enough) at the History Museum because it was a good read and interesting place for us. But if history of HK doesn't interest you, Science Museum is next to it. You can hop by and take a look. But if History Museum is interesting enough to you, then skip Science Museum.

For scenery and nature, I will recommend that you go out and hike as well as visit Kadoorie Farm. You can join a group of hiking enthusiasts for some interesting trails as well as for safety.

Depends on when you want to get back to work.
Change of mind, wanna use less AL, so planning either Fri late night or Sat morning flight, then return Tue.
Is the HK airport express train most convenient method to get to Kowloon side? I am planning to stay airbnb too, so wanna quickly confirm a place somewhere not too shabby rundown.

Not say the most convenient, but it's my preferred choice everytime i go back HK. It's safe, cheap, fast and clean..so why not..

Yes, it is. But not one of the cheapest. Many recommend one of the A21/A22/N21/N22 (A is daytime bus, N is night time equivalent).
