I'm also travelling in a group of 4 adults + 1 toddler... but I've only rented a Camry (or equivalent)... apparently the boot should be able to fit 3 big luggage...

Where are you travelling to? I think it'll be squeeze for your rear passengers esp if you add a child seat behind..

I think a SUV will be a better choice..

I think seat wise for passengers we are ok... have done it for Brisbane / Gold Coast before... coz its 3 ladies and the only male is the driver :)

Also wont be having long drives like to GOR or Philip Island.. longest ride is probably abt 90mins one way...

I'm only worried about boot space!! haha...

if it's 3 large luggage, it might be hard to fit in, unless it's a hatch..

If you are referring to those really big luggage, 3 will be an issue.

if it's 3 of those 27" luggage, even a 7 series wouldn't fit..

yap, basically most sedan car can only put 2 big luggage side by side, then alot of small-mid size luggage on top or ard it (provided is those are not hard cover).

I would go with the SUV as well. Keep in mind that all seats are fully utilized so you won't have the option of using the back seats as a backup.
