Come here to plus 1 and give Hollywood a_|_ for being lazy and just remaking and destroying my childhood movies.

They are playing safe with this franchise.
Making movie is a big gamble.
If they make a flop, they cannot handle the loss.
At least those that hate the move have to watch it to criticize the movie.
They can at least recover some if it is a flop.
I guess the latest TMNT movie did not do good.

Don't even try to use feminist issue to defend this lousy moobie. A lot of moobies have female protagonists and still get tones of praise because a good moobie ish a good moobie regardless the main lead sexuality wah. Worst of all they are making this more like a reboot than a real sequel by creating a whole new timeline that erase the existence of the previous ghostbuster. Want to be feminist, at least make these cast the daughters or stoodents or something of previous ghostbusters and show the surviving casts now pass the torch over to the new gals or something mah.

Like SW force awakens also felt more like a reboot by changing skywalker into a char bo and creating a new timeline after Return of the Jedi such but yet ish still well-received because the moobie bother to show lespect to fansee and got pay tributes to the previous casts and storyline mah. You don't see people condemning this moobie just because the new skywalker ish now without kkh wat.

People are just trying to paint the new ghostbuster moobie haters as anti-feminist for criticizing the casts and moobie but in actual fact ish that this ish really a lousy moobie with all the wrong casts and trying to milk moola from the ghostbuster name nia. Even if all the leads change to guys this moobie ish still a piece of $hit that greatly disappointed the ghostbuster fan base.

FWIW the franchise was ruined in 1986 with that shitty cartoon, shitty game and then ruined again in 1989 with the second shitty movie. This isn't ruining the franchise. If anything, this is merely carrying on a great tradition of keeping the Ghostbusters franchise shitty in comparison to the original.

Actually the cartoon (the real ghostbuster, not the later extreme one in the 90s, but that later one also not that bad though) not bad wat, moi leecall quite a few episode in the first two seasons actually quite scary leh and the anime overall do portray the original characters well. Think only starting from season 3 or 4 when they try to make the cartoon more "kid-friendly" and focus the whole cartoon on slimer then it start to sux and ruined a potentially good cartoon spin-off for the franchise.
