hwz also allowed a sarcastic troublemaker, who self-promote blog and other links and kept stepping on the line, who got pban and come back as a clone and continue to keep stirring, starting arguments everywhere while promoting his insurance policy of certain company non-stop in almost every insurance thread he stepped into,

what does one say about that?

Everyone here has their fair share of warnings/infractions when they stepped on the line and that includes ST. One can go ask him yourself if you please.
If his fans wanna promote his stuff, it's because his stuff is good. Just as someone kept promoting NTUC's stuff. If anyone self-promote or promote affiliated stuff, do point me to it and it will be removed.

I am only sharing my views about WL, sharing the pros and cons of Wl, helping to increase better awareness and understanding vs Term vs Endowment vs IPL. I'm not helping NTUC to promote their policies for personal gain. The policy named is no longer available anyway, so what am I promoting?

yes normally they will take a cut of the profits about 20 percent but it can go up to 40 percent for good trading performance

yes good life make about 30 to 40k per day anyway George Soros also manages OPM (other peoples money) thats why he has a fund management company

I am thinking also if I get divorced in the future and the 2 kids follow me, will I still get my financial freedom...main hindrance to that is the expensive property prices in Sg, if one can inherit their parent's home, it will make it much easier for the next generation. Hence, the beauty of freehold property...also cars are too expensive, to reach financial freedom early, one must not own a car, really, money down the drain...

the risk is manageable if you know wad ur doing and have good discipline

Exactly, not sure why it drop so I buy in. Everytime the market correct itself, I buy in. It's not really difficult if you keep a clear head. Buying into the index is an easy way to make money during such correction.

Can you share what index to buy? What is your opinion of CFD?

U can setup a blog shop or sell dresses or stuff online but u will still have to do the work through the sending out of items truly passive is total hands off investments with returns for me I still have to do the work analysis and the trade decision

Actually you don't need to pack and send out items for your online shop anymore as most sellers are using fulfillment service...The fulfillment center would store your products in the warehouse, when an online order comes in, they would pack the item and send out the items...

U should tell your hubby hwz is a free platform for u to market yourself to kickoff possible streams of passive income

Learn from this guy: first he share his views/knowledge here, then after securing "hwz fans", make publicity of the "fanship" on the web, then later he use hwz as a free platform to promote/market his new book, get "sponsorships" and collect money for his draft book before even it is published

To me, the above are smart strategies or techniques if u want to generate passive income, be it thru writing a book or as a means to generate traffic to your blog, so long u play by the rules. U can use the strategy/technique on other forums if this is a nono here. If people feel sensitive about what I posted which are facts, that's not my intention. How u read my sharing to take advantage of it is up to u.

I come here to this forum to read with one major objective: look for possible techniques/strategies to generate passive income. I have learnt many from the cc forum and using it. I have a blog and have already learnt the "how to" when starting the blog which was stopped. I share my knowledge and experience here as my contribution/payback since I have learnt some here.

One more technique I learnt here recently: share your website and any tools/software for free then later for some reasons impose a fee. Another "smart" strategy! But I will not do this. Again how u view this sharing to take advantage of it is up to u.

It is something all normal couples should think of I believe as divorce rates are going up and we never know when life throws us a curve ball...of course we should all strive to be married for life though, after all we took marriage vows....much better financially to stay married than be divorced too.

A blog is basically a content publishing business. You create content, you market your site to get users/eyeballs, you sell media spaces, allow your database to be used to sent out marketing messages for clients. That's how you can make passive income or side income from minimal work. Later if your site is super popular, you can even start to run courses, offer consultancy services etc.

I know people whose personal blog is so successful that they easily collect $5k per month from very little work. My own company used to be in this business and I have invested in a few media companies too, so I am familiar with it.

As for generating 5% from 1.2m, I would say it's possible but it depends on your risk appetite and your investment timeframe. If you can't or don't want to manage your portfolio, you can buy products with managers though most people here at the forum will tell you not to. To me, it's just a service I pay for. My investments are mostly managed by professional managers in the form of mandates. I don't have to do much these days. I travel a lot. I am in Zimbabwe now to see Victoria Falls.
