Then those nearest the entrance to the estate from the main road..My blk is nearest to the MSCP and also to the entrance..

Correct, the BSC is downstairs...

Of all the completed BTOs I have been to, almost 99.9% have their first block completed when the BSC is on ground floor.

Those that move in late also nvm, at least no need to bear with the irritating renovation 'ah bengs' that 'guard' the lifts and car parks :s13:

Surprisingly, i only see them around for 2-4 weeks..All the uncles, after that didnt even appear at the other blk which started handling out their keys..

Wanted those wall angle tray but 3 levels so kinda bulky..Wife wanted something small, i'm fine with this..Just put my hair shampoo on the floor, nothing much to worry about..

Not so complicated and multi level also..

Nice place! I'm waiting for my keys at West Terra. Just curious, from the time you chose your unit to getting your keys, about 3yr wait? My block 22 floors now building till 16th,wondering if it will be ready by next year.

Keen in your contractor's contact too. Think you didn't hire ID since it was your wife's design? Did you or your wife have to go supervise from time to time? (common advice I hear from friends who only hire contractor is to check on them like 3-4 times a week)

My blk was only 14th storey and I waited for 2 years 361 days from 1st day of launch until key collection..minus perhaps 10 weeks if from selection date(but I was number 26 for the ballot)..

Nope, just main contractor and not really, I only drop by once if not a max of twice a week to check on the work done. Sometimes is becos they installed something so curious to see how it looks like then I came over..other than that, my contractor will auto call me or send me pics..

Will pm you his contact no later.

Both my locks comes with manual override using keys.If battery goes flat, both has an external 9v plug to power up for access...
The override key works if the lock's batt is flat. But what if the lock has malfunctioned? Will the override key still work?

Unlike traditional lock which is very simple & unlikely to spoil a digital lock has tons of mechanisms & electronics in it. Im just worried in the event something "sorts" and the digital lock goes dead, does the manual override key still work?

And what happens when u leave for work the next day? Manually lock the door after you leave? Again we're not talking about batt flat but lock malfunction. Are u still able to manually lock the door?

Does your ID company start with a R? Lol. Asking cos the format of the breakdown damn similar to mine.

Nope...Think format can look the same between different company since offering similar services..

If the battery is flat, i can always jump start with a 9v battery for both lock, dont need to manual over ride with keys.

If the circuit board malfunction, the key will still over ride since mechanical override is not dependent on the circuitry..When you insert the key and turn, requires some force to actually key open the deadbolt.

In an event of ur scenario, yes you can use the key to lock the gate and door manually..

Ermmm, a contractor is like a ID except he doesnt give u fanciful 3D drawings like ID..

It's not individually sourcing for carpenter, electrician, plumber, tiler etc etc..If this is the case then u're the contractor actually.

A contractor in reno terms is someone who is a project manager, he is like ur middleman who has all the contacts for all the things which needs to be done. And he will take ur ideas or those which you've agreed with and then coordinate the ppl, work progress, measurement etc etc..They can help u design as well if you're lost somewhere.

A ID is so call a higher class of project manager, help u design until like condo and gives u si bei swee 3D render of how the room will look like..And of cos charge u more for the effort.

That's a relief. With that in mind confirm i will use digital locks in my new place but of course models with manual override key lah. The fear of being locked out was always an issue.

I know several door locks have manual keys. But gate lock also have meh?
