just curious if this works with iphone 6 :s11:

Not too sure about about iPhone's charging tech. All I know is that Huawei's 'quick charge' is unique in it's own way and its different from Qualcomm's 'quick charge'. If you are really curious, you can give it try since the charger isn't that expensive, close to $15. Anyway, this charger switches between 5V/2A and 9V/2A.

Oh, so this charger is effective only with android devices that support quick charging?

Refer to xtramadness's post above.

Also, these are a good read:

I was once very confused too since nowadays there are so many 'proprietary' charging systems. Sooner or later, I think more will appear.

Why up lorry your mi max :s11:
Oppo R9 :)

Up lorry it ...:s13:

That lorry is just too big for me to drive around and put inside my pants pocket! I just couldn't take it! :s13:

R9 Plus...but still considering....The low light / night shots are not up to standard.....May ended up grabbing a new or used Galaxy Note 5 since it's much cheaper now! Galaxy Note 5 camera is still top notch bah!:s22:

It's weird how some manufacturer decided to go with their own fast charging method.
Understand from huawei as they used their own processor. but OnePlus 3 & Oppo~

Apple is always on its own hahhaa, but almost all other company used the same Android as ecosystem so they should help each other. Like I won't switch to Oppo/OnePlus simply they have these special fast charge that only works with their own cable & charger

Samsung is in its own world sometimes too. But recently a SG coy has a chipset that allows both QC and FC standard... :s13:
