Actually mySim is really worth it. I would have signed for it if I am not on corporate plan with free caller ID and auto roaming

Just tired, they said cannot :(

Mine is 17 sep, for only 1 day they said can't. Fyi mine is 11 months on the 17 sep

Not possible, I asked about it. They mentioned that it is a prebuilt function into their system which will block you from recontracting online.. You must do an early termination if you want to get it on launch day. But seriously just wait for iphone 8.

Another way is to call them up, tell them you want to recontract and dont mind paying for the remainder no. of days penalty, which doesnt cost alot. Up to u... this is another way if you die die wants the phone.

Ok finally the manager allows it to be 1 day earlier, but the system will only capture on the 17 sep, which means that I can only call in to do a offline ordering. Anyonr encounter this before ?

Time to comsider singtel. Besides allowing you to recontract the month yr contract is up (i.e. Sept) they dont use an antiquated system of day to count when contract must be until. Benefits of singtel price plans also so much more comprehensive. The only advantage of m1 is just maybe cheaper? As long as you sign in sept, every sept ot every 2 year sept you can time it in with iphone release

my Sim plan 20 eg.

20+ caller ID 5 = $25/mth
$25 x 24 = $600

$600 + eg $1218 = $1818

Vs

Corporate plan $30x24 = $720
Say the 128gb is abt 800 so it's $1520

How would you account for mySIM being a 1-year only contract?

Think 24mth contract isn't a big issue right unless one doesn't plan to use the line or number for long (eg overseas posting)

Or if one is the sort who need to change to every s phone eg 7s in this case Nxt yr then don't think it's very attractive for my Sim plan...whereas I think it's more worthwhile for those who don't wish to recontract and plan to use an existing handset without spending additional on a new phone

eventually it's like either save $300 and sign 2yrs contract or spend additional $300 and be bounded for 1 yr

recontract penalty for a year not $350?

been thinking shall I pay it.
assuming I am buying it yearly.
sign or not, I'm using the line daily.

now the handset price for 6s plus 128GB for iLite is $930.take it as the iPhone 7P pricing upon release.

my calculations;
$30 x 12mths= $360 (CIS)

$360 +$930 +$350 =$1640

if I don't recontract,
$1418 +$360 = about $1780

take the resale value just before next iPhone release as $900.
yearly buy sell tiap the difference for the next iPhone ,$500.

which option is better?
maths failed lol

for early recontract (11 mths< x <20 mths ) if buying iPhone, surcharge/penalty is $350.

I think another factor that tilts the decision towards signing a 2 yr regular plan is the $100 loyalty vouchers that can be used to offset the price of the handset when signing up for the regular plan

My guess is u look at 1 year horizon and not 2 or 3, but I may be wrong

Looking at 1 year horizon maybe worth it, how about 2 or 3?

Note that this exclude "reselling the new or used" phone, purely recontract value

m1 pre-register cannot sign corporate individual plan, this is quite stoopig.

Hmm .... they never mention cannot re-contract for CIS. :s8:

Agreed. It is just ridiculous, but m1 is pretty cheap if you have their fiber plan as well. Plus their data passport is pretty convenient for traveling overseas.
