Oh yeah,

What about eats? Are there must eats in Kyoto Osaka and Tokyo. There are so many options that I have no idea where to begin!
A site which lists all the good food would be extremely helpful! Thanks+

This would come in handy https://tabelog.com/en/. Their version of hungrygowhere. Generally 3.5-4 can be considered superb and more than 4 would be Godly.

Day 2: Osaka
Day 3: Osaka + Head out to Kyoto
Day 4: Kyoto
Day 5: Kyoto
Day 6: Kyoto
Day 7: Hakone
Day 8: Tokyo
Day 9: Tokyo
Day 10: Tokyo then fly back to Seoul!

Everyone has his must-see list. Most of us usually do our own itineraries by doing a lot of reading up via magazines and travel sites. You might wanna start reading up here:

Thank you! These webs are really helpful and yep I understand that but my main goal is mainly scenery, culture and food i guess. Especially Kyoto's old world charm unlike big cities.

Oh yea, one more important question is that I am taking the shinkansen from Kyoto to atami then changing a train to yugawara, do i need to reserve a seat on the shinkansen as it is near the peak period and also, I must must reach my next accommodations by latest 3pm!

If you got a JR Pass, by all means book the seats in advance. You can take Hikari 516 at 10.33am or Hikari 464 at 10.56am to reach Yugawara on time.

thing is, I am only going to take the shinkansen once (Im still confused if this is correct but shinkansen is the bullet train right?) to Hakone and hence, would not be having a JR pass as I won't be using it a lot except once when i take the shinkansen? :s22::s22:

So confusing hahah

Just buy your ticket and purchase seat reservation when you land at Osaka.

Okay! Thanks for the heads up! That would be the JR West train office or any train stations in Osaka can handle that?

Hmm you can try japanica website which others recommended me initially!

Private hot springs are kind of expensive and ryokan with them are also kind of rare I think from what I've seen. Don't know if there is any in Osaka also as it isn't really a hot spring town, more like a big city.

Go do your reading up and check the reviews on the ryokans in booking sites and TripAdvisor.

It's not near Tokyo and no train stations nearby. If you preferred somewhere nearer, choose areas around Mt. Fuji Five Lakes or Hakone or Atami.

If you didn't get JR Pass, drop the idea of doing a half-day trip to Kyoto. It's gonna cost you at least ÂĄ26,000 for a return Shinkansen trip. You need at least 3-4 days to the popular spots in Kyoto.

Just another quick question, is the Osaka amazing pass worth it for 2 days if I plan to visit places like HEP ferris wheel, Osaka castle, shitennoji, tempozan ferris wheel, umeda sky building.

you just add the entrance fees & total travelling cost to compare against the cost of the pass. Most of the time its worth it.

BTW, end you day at Natural Open-air Hot Spring Spa Suminoe. Quite nice and easy to get to. Dont miss the last train (which i did)
