Expansys is selling the Mi 5s/plus claiming it runs Miui 8 Global ROM 8.010.0.0(MAGCNDH). But I didn't see Miui Forum mentioned that global rom for Mi 5s is available. Is Expansys giving the wrong info?

Yes the China with sideload play store seem fine..(but for gaming...status, acheivement etc...at time messy or not supported)

That sounds like custom. Rom that cannot get updates. Mine is China ROM 8.0.7 MBGCNDH works perfect leh

Just found out that 8.0.10.0.MAGCNDH is actually a China Stable ROM.

Has already reported. It's 4+3g.
Depends which seller offered the best deal. Can't really recommend which is the best.

Now debating between this or LG V20... this wins as so much cheaper, but not sure of functionality.

The China ROM has three language choices, including:
Chinese (Simplified),
Chinese (Traditional), and
English.

Android Pay should be able to work, but I'm not too sure of compatibility. Maybe those who have the 5s Plus may want to comment on this.

Thanks. That resolves the language.

Read the specs is "Full feature NFC" but that's probably open to interpretation, not sure of details. Anyone use Android Pay successfully on this phone?
