Hi all, I bought a Sony CP-SC5 fast charge 5000mAh power bank a couple of days ago and managed to charge from 4% to full in 2 hrs 30 mins. Battery care was turned on. Any idea if this is considered fast or slow?

Actually I think XZ is a great phone, one of my favourites. Why-

1) love the Sony UI,

2) the Blue colour and the build of the phone,

3) the size is about right for me.

Just the camera performance - still have sometimes blurred images - need more practice. Hard to find screen protector. Using the nillkin one for now. Volume is not so good but partly because of its waterproof and dustproof features.

It doesn't have an Apple logo. Otherwise he'd be full of praise.

Oh really. So now i am painted as an apple fanboy. Not sure whether i should be honoured or insulted or just laugh at your stupidity.

One thing is for certain, you are a Sony fanboy. This phone can do no wrong.

lol if tarui04 only liked Apple logos he/she wouldn't even be using the XZ.

Mine got sent in for repair only on the second day, part of screen not responding.

They did give me a Z3 Compact as a loaner.
Got to experience the awesome battery life of this mini!

What's wrong with it?

At first i tested the phone i felt the back was feeling weird then i realized it was the rear protector still on.

Somehow i didn't realized the side was quite oleophilic. Often it would feel slippery or plasticky.

The case i got was a bit meh. The one i got made the phone pop out a little. Pressing with the usual force makes it feel like the sp had popped out. so i need to press hard at the upper left corner to get a screen response.

But then again maybe curved screen is like that?

Did you have a screen protector on?

That is the issue with SP...I also had a friend with S7e complaining about unresponsive screen until I told him to remove the SP which happens to be a curved glass SP. Due to the differences in curve, it may not fit exactly causing it to have a little bit of gap between the screen and the SP therefore making it hard to register a screen response.

He had since changed to another curved glass SP and all was fine...

it's fine the moment i take the phone out of the case. the case sort of squeezes the phone upper left corner out a little so when I press that corner, it feels squishy? at first i thought it was the SP popping out and creating an air gap between SP and phone.

i think the main difference is that while both phones have curved screen. s7e uses the curved edge for functions. xz doesn't use it as a launch bar?

Yes, most problem lies on the screen protector and if it is not good, it will affect the responsiveness of the touch screen. That is why I rather invest a bit more on a good quality tempered glass screen protector rather than those cheap ones bought online.

Nope, S7e basically just curved the end of the display and added that function which you can also do so via app or custom roms on other phones. Aside from looking nice it doesn't really have separate function like the Note edge or V10/V20's top bar...

Anyway, I not sure what you meant by squishy, I pressed everywhere on my XZ and it was solid everywhere without any touchscreen issue as well. But I wasn't using any screen protector so..:D

squishy as in
the case pushes the phone slightly out of the case
when I press the corner, the phone sinks back into the case. hence the feeling of squishy

No screen protector, confirm screen spoilt cos of the drawing test in service menu.

Part of the screen cannot draw lol.

Strange this is that with the Style Touch Cover on that part of the screen could respond.

Personally I feel like the phone is a bit fragile, like if not careful it could bend easily.

Using the krusell clear case, it fits tightly.

Well, let's just hope they replace you with a good one since you got a lemon set.

Some cases are not fitting hence the bad experience. I prefer ringke case, maybe you can try.

There should be no squishy feeling. If there is, try without the SP
