Peter Navarro, a University of California at Irvine economics professor and a frequent critic of China’s trade practices, will lead a newly formed White House National Trade Council as an assistant to President-elect Donald Trump.

The fresh set of personnel inside the White House is tasked to “advise the president on innovative strategies in trade negotiations, coordinate with other agencies to assess U.S. manufacturing capabilities and the defense industrial base, and help match unemployed workers with new opportunities in the skilled manufacturing sector,” the transition team announced in a statement Wednesday. Navarro will be an assistant to the president and “director of trade and industrial policy.”

Kengo Kyogoku borrows about 122,000 yen ($1,035) per month in addition to a scholarship and a part-time job, because his mother can’t afford to pay his college fees at the prestigious Waseda University in Tokyo.

“The amount is huge,” said Kyogoku, a sophomore of communications and computer engineering. “I get depressed when I think about it. I wonder if I would have to pay it all back forever. But I have no choice.”

Kyogoku is becoming the norm rather than the exception in Japan, where more than half of college students now need financial aid. Loans were rare in the past as most students came from affluent middle-class families who could afford the fees. Today’s parents inherited the legacy of Japan’s long economic ice-age, with fewer family-wage jobs and lower savings, fueling a sense of generational inequality.

agreed.

Short-Mid term investment is more suitable for singapore market. Just follow the sti yoyo up down up down.

Long term is only for ppl who dont have time or dont wish to care, just earn from dividends.

Daimon, which shares to buy at 2750?

You got Daimon Capital Management? Better than Dymon Asia? I will invest at 2%/20%.
