considering between UOB, DBS and SCB any recommendations? DBS now apparently has a promotion if you open a privilege account and deposit 250k you get 1.2k taka voucher.

is this promo still on? can't find it on DBS site

If you stay near Orchard Rd, CIMB at Knightsbridge is convenient with nice coffee and a reasonably nice lounge to rest your feet after shopping. Stanchart has one at Mandarin Gallery though have not visited it yet.

Will SCB allow a member be accompanied by a child?

Cimb pushed me to preferred even though I told them I don't need. They send me a preferred ATM card to replace the one I have and never used. They also renamed my starsaver to preferred. What is preferred?
Preferred is like priority banking (one below private banking).

I don't need either. AI may be good but decided not to go ahead to sign those forms since I couldn't get a specific bond that I wanted.

Any of the privilege banking services better or worse for US citizens? Would Citigold be a better choice ? Do they have RMs?

Be prepared to be turned away at the door by at least some of them as soon as they find out you're a US citizen; a lot of banks just don't want the reporting headaches of having US clients.

Citi definitely wouldn't have a problem, but I don't know what their service is like. DBS kept me on as a client even after I moved to the states, so I assume they'll be OK with it too.

None without any T&C.. 350K-250K-200K is nothing great to offer free limo / lounge (each costing $30-50). May be private client level can afford to do. I know DBS does that with unlimited airport transfer, lounge with friend/partner @ changi..
So always few T&C for PB and AFAIK,
SCB - No transfers, PP card to main card holder of Priority Visa Infinite.
CITI - No transfers, Lounge.. PP card to come with Prestige card (annual charges apply)

I had a chat with a DBS banker before, US citizens have no problems opening a retail or treasures account with the bank but they would not be able to go higher than that. TPC and PB accounts are off limits to US citizens.
