Actually the CSO only have limited power to close recontract deal. What you can do is just state that so and so are giving this promo and if their recontract plan is able to match it. If CSO cannot, ask if there is anyone on the line with power to broker a deal that can. Be prepared to be on the phone for around an hour for this.

M1 reception n customer service r horrendous. I'm going to go back to sinktel after my contract ends.

Current Singtel contract ($34.31 after 20% CIS discount) ends April, thinking of jumping ship to M1 for an iPhone 7 128GB and a Lite+ ($31.50 after 25% CIS discount) plan. Worth to jump ship prematurely during IT Show, or just recontract at Singtel at anytime from now?

Only this looks good to me. Currently i using 1Gb speed. If downgrade to 500mbps will the speed by noticeable? Only using handphones to surf, pc almost never on.

Currently using 1gb means you still have ongoing contract right? Then cannot downgrade else pay penalty.

500Mbps is more then enough to do most of our daily stuff..
4k video uses only 15Mbps..
