More than 8 already.
Now she licks it quite often.
Like all caveats, I always tell people to bring their pet to a vet for a look over. But it looks like a wart, common in old dogs. It can be annoying when they decide to lick it to the point of bleeding. Some clinics with cryotherapy will use it to get rid of the wart but it may return
I am unfamiliar with Maxitrol but a quick google reveal the ingredients to be antibiotics and corticosteroids. Not sure if its useful in corneal lipidosis if that is what ur describing? Ophthalmology is not my strong suite.
Yea can food is not good for them, just make sure you find an age appropriate dry food for her. As in puppy dry food, some pet shop may carry some packet kibbles for you to try and see if ur puppy likes it or not. If your puppy become picky eater just stick to your guns and dont change the food. Also make sure no one is feeding her table scraps and treats. I dont like to give human food because it trains the puppy to be picky eater
Depends on your breed. These days there is a growing medical literature supporting delaying spey till they are mature vs early age desexing. This is some thing you need to discuss with your vet as to what is appropriate for your pet. Early age desexing is comparatively easier than mature age desexing. Less bleeding, better wound healing, protects against ovarian cancer if done before first heat which usually occur around 6 months old as an average age.Is 10 months old a good time to spay my female puppy?
What would be the best time to spay a female dog? Is spaying a good idea and will it potentially reduce the dog's risk of diseases and cancer and extend their lifespan?![]()

Needle aspirates may not always give the full picture, it could still be a malignant mass. When in doubt, cut it out and send it away to a pathologist. Does the blood test measure calcium level? Some types of malignant anal gland tumor may cause a spike in blood calcium but not all blood machine will measure this particular mineral
Other things to consider is that the anal gland has been infected by a nasty persistent bug that may require antibiotics and culture/sensitivity test to see if its one of those MRSA type bug. If all else fails, may have to consider removing the gland completely but only as a last resort
Hmm, is it vomit or regurgitation? There is a big difference between the 2. Also if its 'tiny bits', then how tiny is it?Hi!
Can I check if there are occasionally white/yellowish tiny bit of mucus/droplets on my puppy's tray, is that something I should be worried about? It's not everyday though, just maybe once or twice a week.
I heard it's because bile is in their tummy or something because they haven't eaten much? I feed mine at 8am (60g of kibbles). Afternoon nobody at home so I can't feed him. And once more 60g at 6pm.
Should I try feeding him another 30-60g at about 9-10pm so that he won't have an empty tummy for the whole night?
Thanks!
edit: puppy 4 months old, maltipoo
I've seen people feeding their dogs raw meat such as beef, pork and chicken to cure yeast infection and skin problem.
Is it true raw meat is better than cooked food? What kind of raw meat would be best? Can I feed a 10month old pupply with it?
My pups does not have any skin problem but I do see her scratching her body especially in the middle of the night.
To me. Yes. Solve some of my problem, like stomach sensitive. But I don't DIY raw. I buy ready made one.
But need to do homework le
Thanks Harky.
I am planning on DIY so as to get fresh meat. Researched a few videos, just a bit scared to try for fear of parasites/bacteria/worm eggs that lingers in the meat.
Looking for the safest type of meat.
Probably I will try making some raw treats with a food dehydrator for her to try first.

It doesnt matter lah, raw food will always carry the risk of bacteria and parasites.
Umm... so safe to give raw or better not give?
