Collected my ps4 slim from service center today it was fast send in Monday today can collect liao =)

I understand many Google reviewer experience bad service from them, but I didn't they changed my ps4 slim motherboard to a brand new one.Tested by theirs own technician and when I collect they even let's me test on for like 20mins!

Definitely service is good I don't get it's why so many reviewer give them 1 star rating?

that's typical really.....people will only give feedback when they have bad experience but rarely give good feedback if the experience is good.

Customer service line definitely got good got bad one. See heng suay the one you meet is which one nia. But glad you got a good service by them. And yeah gotta agree, people only post online when something bad happens, hardly anyone will specially come online to praise something.

Coz there's a current promo (ps plus and game) going on...
If I self renew before the auto renewal, will the new cycle kick in upon my psplus expiry or will it kick in on the day I self renew??

It will extend your current expiry date by the additional period you bought. So if your current PS+ expires July 2017, buying 12 months now will extend it to July 2018 (and not Mar 2018).

Newbie guide to PS4 for Singapore

Hello guys, Just bought PS4 from ITSHOW today. I am total newbie for console gaming, and in fact gaming stuff. So far only play mobile based games.

Can you guys kindly point me to the right section for newbie what needs to be done for account setup? I would like to buy PS4 games from Amazon and online.

I read several threads but quite confuse.

1. Is PSN card universal? like a top up card? So i can just reload it from different merchant?

2. Which region you need to select to setup your account?

3. Do you register at Sony Playstation Asia officially?, will it impact game delivery etc?

Sony's PSN store is like apple app store, but different region PSN store are separated. Region 1 is US, region 2 is Euro, region 3 is Asia, etc. Likewise when u buy PSN card u have to know which region it is for, buy from who doesnt matter.

The region of the account u create depends on the address u key in. Key in SG address u get asia account, euro address u get euro account etc. The PSN store u get to access from your created account will be of the corresponding region also.

If u intend to buy games from Amazon (im assuming the us store), take note the games sold there are all R1 unless specifically stated. Games are all region free, but when it comes to DLC (downloadable content), u have to buy from the correct region PSN store to fit the correct disc region, i.e. US PSN store for R1 DLCs.

Register at sony asia is just for hardware warranty, nth to do with account region etc.

To add... you can have multiple accounts each of different region on a single PS4.

I am trying to add in my local credit card for the singapore PS store to top up my wallet. But they keep saying credit card details invalid. No typos but cannot work... What do you guys put for the city? Singapore?
