Well, the site says:

That's pretty much useless honestly. It's only good for some cases.. and those don't even cost $100.
There are people selling these vouchers at lower prices, and I'm thinking of getting the GearVR/Dex. Do you think we can still use it at SES?

When I was at SES yesterday, I could buy any Samsung accessories; just top up if required.

Not sure if there's any changes or different practises elsewhere.

will drop after all the fanfare. the wireless charger costs $68 at some 3rd party mobile shops as I was told. haven verified pricing though. need to be patient only. don worry bout it

Just collected from bugis samsung. $100 can be used on all "samsung" branded accessories, including dex, gear s3, vr, etc.

Screen on adaptive display looks almost perfect, prefer to scroll down "red" by one slide. Other display mode will turn reddish.
Tested with *#0*# on LED mode, cripy white. Guess this reddish tint is overblown?

Yes they tried to sell to me too but i turned it down. $68 abit too pricy and they reluctant to say what brand, just say a jap made sp. Looking for one online

You just happened to saw the one that have perfect display.

Try comparing multiple S8s and see whether you can find the lucky "red" ones

Ram is equally important. Once u tasted 6GB, going back to 4GB again u will see the difference.

Ram certainly helps keep application without the OS needing to kill it to free RAM for other applications. Other than that, not much already.

they got tempered glass screen protector? I went to plaza sing samsung and asked abt it, they said they don't sell tempered glass but only the standard one

Anyway, getting from 3rd party vendor is way cheaper and I think made of the same quality

Yup. Likely so. Just like the previous generations of blue tint.

Free RAM is unless RAM. Unlike Windows or Desktop Memory, Mobile OS will keep as much things in RAM so things are quicker to load when called upon cause reloading things back into memory = Increased CPU load = Less battery. So I say.. That is normal.

will drop after 1month but duno drop how much, maybe $100 or 200? need more experts to comment how much would it drop. looking out for friend as well as it's too pricey now

The cheapest someone was selling the $100 voucher was for $55.
I figured out.. if I buy the accessories from 3rd party seller (like Mobile Hardware), it's already gonna be around $45 cheaper, so why bother with the voucher.. LOL.

Yea.. I also checked demo units again, checking out the red tint. Sliding down red for about 25% seems just about right. I guess some sets may be worse..
