Samsung Galaxy S8: Huat Ah! Will This "8" Bring Samsung Fortune?

Does anyone know if the price of s8 will drop once its release for retail sales? From 3rd party mobileshop? didnt preorder abit regret.. as friend telling me it wont drop below retail price.. and is missing out on the wireless charger..

Well, everyone is taking the sets (about $1050 for S8 with charger). It's pretty high already. Obviously gonna sell without the charger, so you can expect the price to be similar. They are all gathering the sets. Only till come 29th of April, they will release the kraken

I'll wait 1 or 2 weeks after that, till it stabilizes around $900-950 before buying. By then my dbrand skin should arrive too.

Have you checked the instuction manual of S8/S8+ to make sure you are doing it correctly?

Try comparing multiple S8s and see whether you can find the lucky "red" ones

Erm, there're 4 other colleagues/ppl who got either s8 or s8+. All the phones were fine in "adaptive" mode. Only when other modes (basic, etc) are chosen, the red tint comes in, some more reddish than others. Anyway, most of us chose to slide one dot to the left on the red color.

Also take note about Smart lock in your settings. You may have allowed a bluetooth wearable to keep your device unlocked as long as they are connected. Or maybe even On-body Detection

Settings->Lock screen and security -> Secure lock settings -> Smart lock

Collected S8+. Yeah adaptive mode in direct viewing angle no red tint , other modes will see the glorious red tint effect, my set is mild red tint. I accept it as adaptive mode still acceptable.

And after take back to have extensive use/test, even in adaptive mode, view it in an angle the red tint will be super obvious, and cannot be unseen. Adjust color balance helps little but that's all, every time some change in viewing angle you will notice the red tint. Think it can't be cured as it more likely related to manufacturing process.

My previous Note4 don't have this great red tint effect, with different viewing angles. Things learn is not to rush for the first batch.
