I replaced my radiator before too.
yup. $700 poorer. :(

:s13: give and take bah.
If you realised, some parts actually last longer than expected and comparing to those presumed "reliable" asian makes.
Over the 10years, also,if you factor in the given really free servicing for your car while those asian makes have to pay labour fee...etc. you actually pay a bit more for this car only.

Asian car spare parts and maintenance bill is still significantly lower than a VAG MB BMW car. Not cheaper by a bit. Its a lot of money. Sure those branded cars got many parts that last a long time. But overall you still need a considerable running budget and experience in order to keep your conti car costs down. For those who dont earn much or those who are rich but do not want to spend so much, pls do yourself a favor and stay with a Jap car. Those top brand cars can kill you financially if you do not know what you are doing and damage it.

For me, it's always keep to simple Jap, NA cars.

today I finally got my intake manifold fixed.
paid extra for cleaning all the 4 ports to clear off the carbon which is a lot.

before the cleaning, its something like this.
