I did despite getting A for both GP & English Literature (admittedly my only As...) RP matters more than grade breakdown :(

Your being offered means your score was probably well within NUS' desired range; I got offered NTU Psych despite scoring 1.25 points below their 10th percentile myself.

If you never recieve any outcome till then,means they aee still processing. And on top of that,yoU CANNOT appeal if you have no outcome.

I see. My RP is actually pretty borderline but I got the offer...so you should try to appeal if you don't get the offer by the stipulated deadline. All the best!

Actually not true for NTU. Last year I appealed to NTU despite no outcome. I did it cos someone called NTU and was told can go ahead and appeal. But my situation was cos I had gone for history interview already and was sure I want to be accepted for the course. So I appealed. I received the offer subsequently and before first window closed. But tbh I am not sure my appeal did influence the offer or not.

hi, i got accepted into both nus and ntu mech engineering..... any advice on which i should accept because im at a lost :(

Hi my friend called up ntu and its confirmed that an appeal can only be made when u recieve the outcome as the link will only be given to u in your letter.

I'm sorry to hear that! 75RP; I'm currently pending an interview sometime next week.

I highly doubt they're running any more tests, actually, according to the email I got regarding said test: "As the writing test is an additional tool that the Faculty is exploring for future use, we wish to inform you that no additional sessions of the writing test will be scheduled."

However they also did note this: "[...] if you are unable to attend, we wish to assure you that the Faculty will still fully review your portfolio to decide on your suitability for our aptitude-based admission exercise. You will still be contacted if you are shortlisted for the aptitude-based admission interview."

So I think you could look forward to an interview if there are vacancies, or you may have to prepare an appeal. Have you gotten any other offers?

Logically rejection letters/emails should come before 28-May-17. The NTU Appeal Period (Undergrad Admission) is from 13 to 28 May 2017
