Both of my applications for these are processing still, funny how I got accepted for the one uni i didnt bother writing DA for... really hope SMU will call me like just call me plox

Also my mum insists on coming w me to the NTU HASS Tea... would that be funny HAHAHAHAHA tbh i really dk

every year without fail will have nerds that put so much emphasis on their CCAs LOL.

for starters, unless u represent singapore, on a national level, CCAs doesnt stand for ****. u can have simi virgin club president, loser club vp, otaku weeb club dipsh!t or simi fanciful sound sibeh satki club and it still wouldnt mean sh1t.

appeals: if ur grades within their cutoff, then u will get it. doesnt matter if the course u appealing for in any of ur original choices.
the appeals will just be forwarded to the respective schools/faculties' administration officer. once again, CCAs dont mean jacksh1t unless u play at a national level.

u can rebut me with "but i know this ahmao ahgao blahblahblah", my ans to u is, no, unless u represent singapore at a national level, cca doesnt do ****. u might wanna see their family background if related to any ministers or not. or any of those 'special cases', which are dealt separately from peasants.

When I went for SMU tea reception most people went with their parents to the tea reception so it's actually okay

Can anyone share some retaking A Levels success stories and methods used? I would greatly appreciate it! My subjects- chem ,econs , Maths , GP . Score :69.75 . Have you decided to appeal for English or History? My advice is history has higher chance since you went for interview already. English unless your gp grade at least B. I think they quite sticky about that. Also there is a separate thread in hwz on retaking A level. You should ask over there.

was SIS your first choice?
i got 70.875 but havent been caught up yet :/ dk isit bc i placed biz as my first choice and submitted on 19/3

I took H2 Math/Chem/Econs-BCC H1 Physics D Gp D PW A Mt B
and yes SIS (IS major) is my first choice.

History! I agree with you. My GP is B . I just feel that there are more people in this thread who redid their A Levels and scored well (eg apollo97 etc) than other threads. When I look at the other threads, I see a lot of posts from people who wanna retake their A Levels and people advising them not to cos it's tough etc . I don't need that kind of negativity in my life lol!
