Can i ask you around what date did you receive your offer last year for NTU history?? I applied for NTU MAS but haven gotten any replies yet, i got 70.875 w MTL, ABD/C but my gp S pw B T.T

I rmb I had my interview on 4May and only received the offer on 26May. That was when appeal already opened also but still within first window acceptance which closed later last year.

May I know what are the chances of appealing into ntu civil engineering if I had not included it in my 5 choices? My rp is in the mid 60s.

If I participated in a competition and won medals in a higher category for the sport but it was after i submitted my application, would it be an appeal reason? i ran out of ideas. And for nus, should i just submit my 6th sem results cuz i improved by almost 0.1 but they didnt ask me for it TT

Edit: and the competition is organised by NTU. Does it help???

SMU: IS (SMT) - went for interview last month and application still processing.

Guys who applied for FASS and got an interview, don't give up hope! I think I was interviewed relatively earlier than others (3 May).

Received offer from NTU mathematical science and waiting for NUS reply(just went for FASS interview on 4th may). Not sure which one to choose if got offer from nus. I'm always quite good in math since primary school but just worried about uni maths for being too hard and boring. Like NUS more (maybe just because of reputation) but heard that FASS has a 6:1 female to male ratio?!?! that's quite scary though. I may want to major in econs if I choose fass but some say that econs is really hypothetical and not that useful? Not that easy to find job as compared to math.
Really don't know how to decide!! Need help plssss.

Wait till you got accepted from FASS then you say. For now, you only got 1 option

uni math is very different and a lot of it is theoretical involving lots of proving formulas and stuff. unless you have the passion for it I don't think you should go into cuz I heard people who were really good in maths and physics and still suffer with maths science. Have you looked at their curriculum and find out what exactly you will be studying?

If u discourage him/her from studying Maths, what is he/she supposed to study?

@waitingggg only got 1 option leh, if don't study maths, no other choice liao leh

Prc very good in ntu maths, hard to compete with them
